Workplaces that meet the Carers + Employers Standards can be recognised as Accredited Carer Employers

Accredited members receive:

Access to members only resources in addition to best practice toolkits.

Certificate of accreditation for display in your workplace.

Communication with a member of the C + E team to support you throughout the accreditation process.

Including sample materials and documentation required for accreditation.

Unrestricted access to the Accredited Carer Employer logo at the attained level for 24 months.

A suite of carer awareness and management seminars provided by Carers Association staff with specialist expertise.

The Process of Accreditation

The application to be an Accredited Carer Employer is straightforward.

Employers submit evidence across five key areas. Support and guidance are provided throughout the process. Accreditation is offered at three levels; organisations start at ‘Activate’ and can work their way to ‘Commit’ and finally ‘Excel’.

This enables employers to build from an initial level of support for carers in their workplace, to embedding innovative strategies across the organisation.
